Max Homa Shatters PGA Tour Driving Record with Remarkable 477-Yard Drive

A Monumental Moment on the Links

The golf world was left in awe after Max Homa unleashed a prodigious 477-yard drive at The Sentry Tournament of Champions, breaking the PGA Tour's longest-drive record.

Unveiling the Longest Drive

On the par-4 seventh hole at Kapalua Resort's Plantation Course, Homa's tee shot soared an astonishing 477 yards during Saturday's third round. This incredible feat marks the longest drive recorded in the tour's ShotLink Era, which commenced in 2003.

Homa's record-breaking drive surpasses Davis Love III's 476-yard drive on the 18th hole at the final round of the 2004 event at the same course.

A Humble Laugh from a Driving Giant

After setting the new driving benchmark, Homa reacted with characteristic humor, laughing off the accomplishment. "I hit a 4-iron on the next hole," he quipped. "I hit a perfect drive on the seventh and then I hit a 4-iron on the next hole. So, it all balances out."

Despite his humble demeanor, Homa's record-setting drive is a testament to his exceptional skill and power. It further solidifies his status as one of the game's most gifted drivers.
